  • What ages do you work with?
I work with students at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels. I have tutored students ranging from 6 to 39 years old!
  • How much do you charge for a lesson?
Individual Session: $150 per hour Group of 2: $90 per student per hour Group of 3: $80 per student per hour Group of 4: $70 per student per hour To ensure that my teaching style is the perfect fit, I offer a complimentary first lesson to each student!
  • Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, I offer referral discounts! If an existing student refers a new student to me, the existing student will receive 50% off their next session after the new student completes their first session. Additionally, the new student will receive a complimentary lesson. The existing student can continue to benefit from this offer with each referral. For example, if they refer two new students, they will receive 50% off two separate sessions, one for each referral.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and PayPal.
  • How long is a session?
Most students typically book 1-hour lessons, but sessions can be as short as 30 minutes or as long as needed.
  • How do you conduct your sessions?
Tutoring sessions are conducted virtually, via Zoom. Many students have busy schedules, and this virtual format allows us to connect wherever and whenever is most convenient.
  • Do you offer in-person sessions?
Unfortunately, I can only offer remote sessions at this time.
  • How can I schedule a session?
Contact info@mathbyjulianna.com and/or (929) 474-0609 to set up your first session!
  • What if I am late to a session?
Sessions will end at their scheduled time, so arriving late will limit a student's tutoring time. If I have the time available, I would be happy to extend the lesson, though this is not always a guarantee. Please keep in mind, you will be charged for the full session, as well as any additional time.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I request that you inform me at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to give notice will result in a no-show/cancellation fee equivalent to the price of the scheduled session.
  • What is your attendance policy for group lessons?
All members must be present for the group lesson. If a member is absent, the remaining participants will be charged a higher rate to cover the total session cost. For example, if a group of four has only three members attending, the rate will increase to $80 per student.
  • Why should I have you as my tutor?
Tutoring has been my passion for years! My aim is not only to share my expertise in math, but also to make students feel supported, confident, and empowered. Although I am the tutor, I often feel like the student—I learn so much about my students and their unique interests. I am immensely grateful to live out my passion and my hope is to inspire students to live out theirs.
